About the Specs..

I'm part of the bespecteled crew. I have been since middle school. It' s a wonder I didn't put my parents in severe debt over the many broken, stepped on or misplaced glasses I've had over the years. Looking back I absolutely despised wearing glasses. I wass called a nerd or Inspectah Willabee Bookworm (still don't know where that came from)" Wearing glasses sucked. In 7th grade I had these GINORMOUS pink and blue ones with little tabs on the side that looked like birth control tablets. They were also photogreys so they would turn dark in sunlight.

Eyewear has since become one of the top fashion accessories especially among the non near and or far sighted folk. I did experiment contacts in college. But despite my childhood mishaps, I still prefer glasses. I consider myself a frugal gal. I've come to the realization that I'll be bespectled for some time. Yes I refuse to get laser surgery. And to be honest Hour Eyes and Lenscrafters just aren't cutting it lately. So i've been researching eyewear designers. Below are some of the ones I'm currently digging.

Note for my fellow bespectled beings:
Have an exam every 2-4 years.
Figure out your face shape to determine what design fits best for you.
It's always best to try frames on but asking a friend or significant other is just as helpful.

My face is oval shaped so square, rectangular and geometric shapes tend to add angles to my soft curves

Top 3 TGS approved eyewear designers. Yep I'm going to have to sell one of my children to rock these dope specs. SHHHH
